Police swap

EC145 G-MPSB has been rolled out of the hangar after having Metropolitan Police titles removed, this will fly back to Oxford today. The other 2 ex Met Police EC145's should follow suit in due course. There is rumour that the NPAS operation of the type will cease.

The aircrew flew down in EC135 G-CPAS which needs a boom repaint, the Police aircraft spend quite a lot of time at low speed or in the hover, so the super heated exhaust gases wash down over the boom with the downdraft of the main rotors and damage paint, so a boom repaint is quite normal.

AS365N3 EI-GJL continues in the paintshop and is nearing completion ready for it's anticipated departure back to Multiflight at Leeds-Bradford Airport next week.
